Advocacy

The MA Affiliate works hard to promote midwifery throughout the state and advocate for women and families.  These efforts include our legislative initiatives and lobbying, helping midwives overcome barriers to practice, and educating consumers and providers about midwifery care.  Many of us also sit on public health committees throughout the state
